Planning, Trusts and Probate Law since 2000. For five of those years, she was a Specialist in those areas, Certified by the
State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. Attorney Tremain was featured in Forbes Magazine in December 2009,
as one of 10 “Leading Providers” of legal services in the State of California. Having graduated with honors from
Georgetown Law Center in 1998, she spent her final year of law school at Boalt Hall, U.C. Berkeley. She is currently admitted

Tremain is passionate about providing high quality estate planning to clients who care about their loved ones enough to put
everything in order BEFORE loss of capacity occurs. For her presentation to the NCLIA, she will explore how life insurance
and trusts traditionally have worked well together to accomplish client goals including estate tax advantages and control
over assets after death. She will also touch on the pros and cons of using trusts in conjunction with life insurance
policies and how the new 2010 tax laws may affect our usual practices.
